EcoFlow Forum Rules

1. Preamble

EcoFlow Forum is an innovative platform created by EcoFlow for product information exchange and sharing among users. Here, users can exchange product information, provide feedback, report issues, share usage experiences, and showcase their creative work. Our mission is to create a respectful, constructive, and inspiring space where users can engage in helpful discussions, learn from one another, and grow together as a community. Please keep in mind this is not a place to simply air your grievances. We encourage helpful discussion above all else.
To maintain a positive and productive environment, we ask that all members follow these community rules. These guidelines help ensure fairness, safety, and a welcoming experience for everyone. By participating in this forum, you agree to abide by the rules and understand that failure to do so may result in content removal or account restrictions.
We thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems and conflict, please follow these simple principles.

2. General Forum Guidelines

• Any comment and content posted by the users in the community (including but not limited to text, images, audio, video) shall not violate the relevant provisions of federal and state laws and regulations and EcoFlow Forum rules.
• Users may not use the forum to advertise, sell, or promote third-party products or services or conduct other commercial activities.
• Discussion of illegal activities and intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Users shall not post any news which fails to comply with the law or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• We will not tolerate rudeness, profanity (or attempts to bypass profanity filters), insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts.
• Any post or content which is determined by EcoFlow Forum staff to be harmful to the forum community (via needless negative posting or comment) will be removed.

3. Registration, Use, and Deletion of Account

By registering for an account on EcoFlow, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age or meet the minimum age requirement applicable in your country of residence. You also affirm that you are registering as an individual and not on behalf of a company or organization unless expressly authorized by EcoFlow.

Each individual is allowed to maintain only one active account on the forums. Creating or operating multiple accounts without prior written permission from EcoFlow is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent banning of all associated accounts.

Your profile, including your username, avatar, signature, and other personal identifiers, must adhere to this standards. Content that is offensive, misleading, political, promotional (unless otherwise permitted), sexually explicit, or in violation of applicable laws will not be tolerated and may be removed at the discretion of EcoFlow.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. EcoFlow is not liable for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure (including but not limited to: sharing your password with third parties, using the same password across multiple platforms, failing to log out of your account on shared or public devices) to secure your login information. If you are aware of or suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify EcoFlow immediately. EcoFlow is not liable for any losses if you fail to promptly notify EcoFlow of any awared or suspected authorized use of your account.

If you do not choose a username during registration, the system will automatically assign you a randomly generated username in the format “EcoUser + random number.” You can change your username later in your account settings.

When you change your username, all content you've generated on the EcoFlow forum (including posts, comments, likes, etc.) will reflect the new name.

Avatars that may be confused with public characters are not allowed.

If you do not upload an avatar, then you will be randomly given a system default avatar.

Animated avatars are not allowed.

Use of the EcoFlow logo in avatars is not allowed.

Account Deletion. If you choose to delete your account, it will enter a 15-day cooling-off period starting from the date of your request. During this period:

• Your account will remain fully active, and you can still log in. Upon logging in, you will be prompted to confirm whether you wish to cancel the deletion.
• If you cancel the deletion, your account will remain active, and you can continue using all forum features normally.
• If you do not cancel the deletion, you will lose access to the forum, including all features and content. Your historical data (including posts, comments, and message notifications) will be retained during this period but will not be accessible to you.
• If no cancellation is made within the 15-day period, your account will be permanently deleted. This action is final and cannot be reversed.

Once your account is deleted:

• It cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
• Any content you voluntarily deleted before your account deletion will not be retained.
• Other content you have posted (such as threads or replies) will remain visible on the forum unless it violates forum rules. In such cases, your content will remain, but the author will be displayed as “Deleted User,” with no personally identifiable information shown.
• You reserve the right to request for deletion of personal information collected and stored during the active period of the deleted account except those required to be retained by the federal and state laws and regulations.

4. Threads and Posts

• Advertising, spamming, and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum post, email, or any form of comments to spam other members.
• To maintain a focused and neutral environment for technical discussions, content in the threads or posts (including text, images, and links) shall be related to EcoFlow's products, services, activities, and user experiences. Texts, images, or links that contain or promote content unrelated to those topics, including but not limited to sexuality, violence, religion, or other subjects shall be considered violating EcoFlow Forum standards. This forum especially prohibits any political content, including but not limited to comments on government policies, political leaders, political organizations, and international relations. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans, depending on the severity. The EcoFlow team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
• All posts will be reviewed after editing and can only be published after passing the review. If a review fails, the user can choose to edit. You can check the review status of the post in the personal center. Please abide by the forum posting rules.
• To maintain a focused and neutral environment for technical discussions, this forum prohibits any political content, including but not limited to comments on government policies, political leaders, political organizations, and international relations. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans, depending on the severity.
• Commercial or promotional text or content related to products or services which are not relevant to EcoFlow are not allowed.
• We reserve the right to delete offensive comments and posts.
• Threads and posts arguing about company policies are not allowed.
• You cannot post any affiliate or referral links or post anything asking for a referral.
• Support tickets should be considered to be confidential information. Support tickets posted in the forums may be deleted.
• We may collect user profile information for EcoFlow’s use with the compliance of applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and will not disclose this information to anyone without user permission.
• Users in the forum shall not upload any videos or photos that depict EcoFlow products being used in an unsafe manner.
• If an emergency occurs, EcoFlow is entitled to find the user’s contact information through the independent search system without prior permission.
• Thread categories/tags - When making a new thread, make sure to tag it with the correct thread board. This allows users and tech support to filter the threads and provide the most useful responses. Threads using the wrong board risk being deleted, so tag accordingly.
• Vulgar, hateful, or otherwise obscene language is not tolerated. It will be up to EcoFlow Forum staff discretion whether to warn the user and/or delete the post/thread.
• Self-censorship is ONLY allowed if the censored word is no longer able to be deciphered. (e.g., the following is not allowed: fk, d!ck, c*s etc.)
• No content promoting unauthorized modification (whatever the content is) will be allowed on the forum. Any content falling within this board is subject to deletion by EcoFlow staff's discretion. Content related to unofficial information about upcoming products, such as leaks and rumors, is also prohibited.

• Refrain from posting meaningless threads, one-word (or short) nonsense posts, etc.
• Do not format your title to look obnoxious. (This includes caps-lock, strange punctuation, flagrant spelling errors, attention-getting characters, etc).
• Threads not encouraging discussion and created primarily to get support from EcoFlow Forum staff go here. If you are looking for community support for an issue, please use the icon on the right side of the Tips & FAQ page to get support.
• Multiple or duplicate posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
• Do not post something that derails a thread. Any post that is not on-topic may be deleted.
• To enhance the readability and visual presentation of forum content, the platform reserves the right to moderately optimize how content is displayed without altering its core meaning. This may include adding, replacing, or adjusting post-cover images or accompanying visuals. Such optimizations are based on factors like whether the content includes images, image clarity, and overall display effect. If users have concerns about these display optimizations, they may request adjustments through customer service or complaint channels.

5. Duplicate Threads/Site Search

• Please avoid posting duplicate threads on subjects already covered.
• The search function of the forum is still being developed and optimized. If you are having trouble finding what you want, like an old thread or content, use Google's search function.
• For an exact search, put quotations around your chosen text.

6. Advertising Services and Solicitation

• We do not allow people to post threads or to send any private messages or emails to users that advertise any products, services, funds or donations. This includes anything that may compete with any items on the official EcoFlow Store, EcoFlow products or not.
• Explicit advertising and soliciting signatures is prohibited.
• Advertising for competing products is not allowed.
• You should never give out your EcoFlow customer ID or password to anyone, and you should not disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone except through the EcoFlow support system. We cannot take responsibility if you disclose this information.

7. Affiliate Programs

The EcoFlow affiliate program is designed to allow people to advertise EcoFlow on their website and earn a commission on all sales generated through that link. You are not allowed to post your affiliate link anywhere on the EcoFlow Forum. Anyone who does this may be removed from the affiliate program immediately without notice. This rule applies to all affiliate program links, not just the EcoFlow program.

8. Intellectual Property

• By posting content on this forum (including but not limited to text, images, videos, and attachments), you affirm that you own or have the legal right to share such content. You retain ownership of your content. However, by posting it, you grant EcoFlow and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and adapt the content solely for purposes related to forum operations, community engagement, or product improvement, advertising placement, email content sharing, or using for other EcoFlow social media channels. This license does not affect your copyright ownership and is limited to the purposes described above. You also allow EcoFlow and its affiliates to sublicense the rights granted herein to third-party service providers, advertising platforms, social media platforms, and other partners, solely to the extent necessary to exercise the rights granted under this license.
• By posting content on this forum that includes your name, username, voice, photograph, image, likeness, or any other indicia of your identity, you grant EcoFlow a separate and additional right to use such elements in connection with the content license granted, including in marketing, advertising, and promotional materials. This right is granted on the same non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, and irrevocable basis as the content license.
• This authorization constitutes your prior written consent for purposes of any applicable right of publicity or personality rights statute, including but not limited to California Civil Code Section 3344 and New York Civil Rights Law Sections 50-51.
• You may withdraw this consent prospectively at any time by contacting us at support.us@ecoflow.com. Upon receiving such a request, EcoFlow will cease using your identity elements in new materials within a reasonable period. Materials already published or distributed prior to the withdrawal may continue to be used in accordance with the content license.
• You may not upload, share, or link to any content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others. This includes: Pirated software, applications, or firmware; Copied or unlicensed written content (e.g., articles, blog posts, documentation); Unauthorized use of logos, images, or design elements; Media content (e.g., music, videos) without proper rights. Posts containing such materials will be removed, and accounts repeatedly violating these policies may be suspended or banned.

9. Data & Privacy

• This section summarizes how EcoFlow collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with your use of this forum. This section is intended to provide transparency and does not replaceEcoFlow's full Privacy Policy, which governs in the event of any conflict.
• We collect certain data related to your use of the forum to enhance your experience and maintain the quality and safety of our services. This includes: Registration information (e.g., username, email address); Content you post (e.g., threads, replies, attachments); Browsing activities (e.g., viewed threads, session duration, IP address); and user interaction records (e.g., when you like, bookmark, share, or comment on content — without collecting the content of the comment itself). This data is used for purposes such as content moderation, service improvement, analytics, and detecting abusive behavior.
• We work with third-party service providers to support certain aspects of forum operations. These providers may process data strictly for the purposes of enforcing forum usage rules and improving the forum’s functionality and user experience. All third-party services are contractually required to act under our instructions and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
• Your forum content might be used for marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, including the use of user-generated content in paid advertising campaigns on third-party platforms in accordance with the license granted under Section 8. When your forum content is used for marketing or advertising purposes, certain information may be shared with advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok) as necessary to deliver, measure, and optimize such campaigns. This may include the content itself, associated usernames (unless anonymized), and campaign performance data. We do not share your email address, IP address, or registration information with advertising partners for their independent use. If required for such promotions, we may associate your content with additional metadata such as engagement metrics, content performance data, or audience demographic information generated by third-party advertising platforms.
• When user-generated content is used in paid advertising, EcoFlow may disclose the existence of a material connection between EcoFlow and the content creator (e.g., participation in the EcoCredits program, receipt of free products, or other benefits) as required by the FTC's Endorsement Guides or other applicable advertising regulations. Such disclosures may include your username or display name in connection with the disclosure statement.
• You may request that your content not be used in paid advertising campaigns by contacting us at support.us@ecoflow.com. Upon receiving such a request, we will cease using your content in new advertising campaigns within a reasonable period (typically 30 days). Content already in active campaigns will be removed at the earliest practicable opportunity. This opt-out does not affect the content license granted under Section 8 for non-advertising purposes.
• We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. Your data will not be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties. You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting our support team. For users in jurisdictions governed by laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we ensure full compliance with requirements regarding data minimization, purpose limitation, transparency, and user consent.

10. Third-Party Disputes and Customizations

• We will not mediate third-party disputes due to third-party purchases. Third-party purchases include styles, add-ons, custom programming and modifications, pay-per-post services, second-hand products, moderation fees, advertising fees, or any product not directly purchased from EcoFlow. Purchasing these items from another company is done at your own risk. If you have an issue with a third-party regarding their support or conduct, then you will need to handle it through the means they provide.
• We cannot provide support for third-party customizations.

11. Disclaimer

• Although the administrators and staff of EcoFlow Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of EcoFlow Forum, nor EcoFlow will be held liable for the content of any message. Use of the forum is at your own risk.
• The forum may contain product-related advice, technical guidance, or troubleshooting solutions provided by other users. Such information does not constitute official support, endorsement, or commitment from the EcoFlow. Users are solely responsible for assessing the suitability, accuracy, and applicability of any such content before acting upon it. EcoFlow shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from reliance on non-official user-generated content.
• Users may share external links, third-party platform information, or content not hosted on this forum. The accuracy, legality, and safety of such content are the sole responsibility of the users accessing it. EcoFlow does not endorse, monitor, or assume any responsibility for any third-party content or links shared within the forum, nor for any damages or losses that may arise therefrom.
• The owners of EcoFlow Community Forum reserve the right to remove, move, or close any thread for any reason without any liabilities.
• Prior notice will be posted in the forum if there is system maintenance or upgrades. EcoFlow will not be responsible for ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, OF ANY KIND, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, IN CONNECTION WITH OR ARISING FROM HARDWARE FAILURE OR FORCE MAJEURE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
• In the event that any part of this Disclaimer conflicts with applicable laws or regulations, the relevant legal provisions shall prevail. EcoFlow reserves the right to interpret, modify, and update the forum rules and this Disclaimer. In the event of material changes that affect user rights or obligations, we will provide notice through appropriate means (e.g., forum announcements, email notifications, or pop-up messages).

12. Moderation & Penalties

• EcoFlow and administrators are responsible for ensuring forum rules are followed. They have the authority to: Remove content that violates the rules; Issue warnings or temporary/permanent bans; Move, merge, or close threads as needed for clarity and organization; Lock or restrict user accounts in the case of repeated or severe violations. All moderation actions are subject to internal review to ensure fairness and consistency.
• Actions taken in response to rule violations include, but are not limited to: Content removal (posts, comments, threads, attachments); Warning notices sent to the user with an explanation of the violation; Temporary suspension of forum privileges; Permanent ban from the forum in cases of repeated or serious violations; Revocation of posting privileges in specific categories or threads.
• The EcoFlow Forum is fully run and owned by EcoFlow, and we reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community. In the event of material changes that affect user rights or obligations, we will provide notice through appropriate means (e.g., forum announcements, email notifications, or pop-up messages).
• While these rules cover most common situations, we cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

13. Rules about EcoCredits

• Only customers who have registered as EcoFlow Members (Free Membership) are eligible to receive additional benefits, including EcoCredits. EcoCredits may be earned through posting, commenting, or other engagement activities on the EcoFlow Forum, subject to applicable incentive rules.
• General tasks to get EcoCredits:
  • Create a post (More than 200 characters): 300 EcoCredits per post (Max 3 per day)
  • Comment on any post (More than 30 characters): 50 EcoCredits per comment (Max 5 per day)
  • Like any post: 10 EcoCredits per like (Max 35 per day)
  • Other limited‑time task rules to be set.
  • No EcoCredits will be awarded if posts or comments fail review.
  • No EcoCredits will be awarded if you comment on or like your own posts or comments.
  • No EcoCredits will be awarded to blacklisted members. Thank you for your understanding.
• For more information about EcoFlow Membership, ways to earn and redeem EcoCredits, and details regarding Membership Rewards and EcoCredits activity, please refer to the EcoCredits page. The content of the EcoCredits page and related materials may be updated or modified from time to time at EcoFlow’s discretion.
• For more detailed rules, please review the EcoCredits Rewards Terms & Conditions, which may also be amended from time to time.

14. Terms and Conditions about Forum Regular Events

• EcoFlow Forum will hold regular Events and these Events will have specific selection criteria for the winners.
• For any questions regarding the Event, participants may contact EcoFlow at support.us@ecoflow.com.
• Participants must comply with these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and EcoFlow’s applicable policies, and must participate in the Event in good faith.
• Any violation of these Terms and Conditions, applicable laws and EcoFlow policies, or any conduct that undermines the integrity, fairness, or proper operation of the Event, including but not limited to fraud, abuse, buying likes or comments, using fake accounts, or employing abnormal or automated technical methods, may result in disqualification. To the extent permitted by applicable law, EcoFlow reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to disqualify any participant and to cancel or revoke such participant’s eligibility to participate in the Event or receive any related rewards or prizes.
• Participants represent and warrant that all content submitted or published in connection with the Event is original or has been lawfully authorized and does not infringe upon any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights or interests of any third party. Such content reflects the views or actions of the participants solely. Participants shall be solely responsible for any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to such content, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EcoFlow assumes no responsibility or liability for participant-generated content.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, EcoFlow reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Event or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be announced through EcoFlow’s official channels.
• Prizes are limited in quantity and subject to availability. Prizes and selection criteria for each Event will be announced in the Forum, and winners will be selected and announced in accordance with the specific rules of each Event. EcoFlow will arrange prize delivery within seven (7) to ten (10) business days after the winner announcement, provided that the winner provides accurate delivery information timely. Prizes are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be exchanged or offset against any discount. In the event of force majeure, insufficient inventory, or other objective circumstances, EcoFlow reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal value.
• Any unexpected taxes, duties, or unexpected fees arising from the receipt or use of a prize shall be borne solely by the winning participant.
• EcoFlow shall not be responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or invalid participation caused by any reason, including but not limited to network transmission failure, system malfunction, or other technical issues.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EcoFlow shall not be liable to any party, including participants, for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Event, the administration of the Event, or the receipt or use of any prize.
• By participating in the Event, participants agree to release and discharge EcoFlow and its affiliates from any liabilities and claims arising out of or related to participation in the Event or any participant’s conduct, including claims based on breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal or equitable theory, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Any matters not expressly covered herein or any issues arising from or in connection with the Event shall be reasonably determined by EcoFlow in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.
